▸ CORE FRAMEWORK — THE LATTICE

Grinberg proposed that space is not empty but a pre-physical, informational structure he called the Lattice — a continuous space-time-energy matrix permeating all of reality. The brain does not passively receive the world. It actively generates experience by interacting with that field, distorting the Lattice to produce subjective reality.

Every coordinate in space contains the total information of all other coordinates. The structure mirrors physicist David Bohm's implicate order: an enfolded holographic sea of infinite potential from which observable phenomena unfold.

In a state Grinberg called no-self — achieved through deep meditation or shamanic practice — the individual ego dissolves, consciousness merges with the Lattice, and intentional reality-shaping becomes possible. This was not metaphor. He attempted to measure it.

EXPERIMENT LOG // TRANSFERRED POTENTIAL
01
Pairs of subjects interact and build rapport prior to the experiment session.
02
Subjects are placed inside electromagnetically isolated Faraday chambers — 14.5 meters apart. No signals of any kind can pass between chambers.
03
Both subjects meditate for 20 minutes. EEG monitoring is active throughout.
04
Subject A is stimulated with 100 random light flashes. EEG records distinct evoked potentials.
05
RESULT: In roughly 1 in 4 pairs, Subject B — receiving no stimulus, in an isolated chamber — shows nearly identical brain activity patterns. Control subjects (no prior interaction) show zero correlation.

LAST RELEASED WORK
The Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen Paradox in the Brain: The Transferred Potential
Physics Essays · Vol. 7 (4) · December 1994 · co-authors: Delaflor, Attie, Goswami
His final peer-reviewed publication, released the same month he disappeared. The paper formalized the transferred-potential experiments — two meditatively-paired subjects in separate Faraday rooms, one stimulated, the other showing a correlated EEG response. He framed it explicitly as an EPR analogue at the level of human brains: a direct empirical bid that consciousness is non-local. 114+ academic citations to date. The single hardest piece of evidence in his entire catalog.
NEXT PROJECTED STUDY
Scaling Transferred Potential — Group Coherence & the Syntergic Field
INPEC research roadmap · pre-disappearance correspondence & lab notes · never executed
Based on his late interviews, INPEC correspondence, and the trajectory of the 1992–1994 papers, his next research line was explicitly stated: extend the transferred-potential paradigm from dyads to groups — testing whether collective meditation could produce measurable non-local coupling across many simultaneously-recorded brains, and whether that coupling could be used to steer the shared lattice rather than only observe it. Preparatory work included planned collaboration with Amit Goswami on a quantum-consciousness formalization, and a Kathmandu retreat intended to gather a high-coherence cohort for the first multi-subject run.

He told colleagues this would be the experiment that moved the lattice from theory to instrument.
INCIDENT REPORT // 08 DEC 1994
▸ ANOMALY — SUBJECT MISSING // CASE SUPPRESSED

Grinberg was last seen on 8 December 1994 — the same month his landmark paper was published. He told his daughter he was traveling to Kathmandu for meditation sessions. No airline has a record of him boarding any flight.

His second wife, Teresa Mendoza, disappeared the same day. When investigators entered the residence, all research materials were gone — computers, files, writings: erased.

Comandante Clemente Padilla, the assigned investigator, was removed from the case under pressure from Mexico's Attorney General's Office. A second investigator contradicted Padilla's findings. President Ernesto Zedillo personally requested information on the file. The investigation was called off. Padilla chose retirement rather than compliance.

Grinberg's brother brought the full archive to the police chief hoping to restart the investigation. Three days later, the file had vanished from the police chief's office.

NOTE
CIA Stargate program documents — declassified August 2023 — reference Grinberg's studies explicitly. The Stargate program was terminated in 1995. One year after Grinberg disappeared.

What ever happened to Teresa Mendoza? A confirmed sighting, death record, or resurfacing of his second wife after 8 December 1994 collapses most of the matrix. If she reappears alive and separated from him → Hypothesis 03 (domestic foul play) spikes toward 60%+. If she reappears alive with him or with documented agency contact → Hypotheses 01 / 02 consolidate above 70%. If her remains are recovered without his → Hypothesis 06 becomes structurally coherent for the first time. Until that data exists, the matrix above is the honest distribution.
ATTRIBUTION — Which abilities most likely drove the removalCLICK TO EXPAND
▸ Re-tiered under HYP 05 (Promethean Threat) — the question shifts from “what makes him worth acquiring?” to “what makes the knowledge worth containing?”
① BRAIN-TO-BRAIN INTERFACE / TRANSFERRED POTENTIAL — primary driver. The 1994 Physics Essays paper is the only result in his catalog that crosses from theoretical to operationally replicable. p<0.005 EEG correlation between subjects in electromagnetically isolated Faraday chambers 14.5 m apart is a literal communications channel that bypasses every existing intercept architecture — and the protocol is simple enough to teach. Wackermann (2003), Standish (2004), and Kittenis (2004) partial replications prove it scales outside his lab. That is the line item that triggers a containment response, not an acquisition one. You don’t recruit a researcher whose method fits on a one-page protocol; you close the door before the protocol becomes a workshop.
② REALITY SERVER / STRONG-FORM LATTICE STEERING — secondary driver. Grinberg had already published the strong form — the Pachita ethnography and the “neurosyntergic brain” claim — over a decade earlier. Standalone, that work was easy to dismiss as participant-observer enculturation. The 1994 dyadic-EEG result was the empirical bridge that retroactively made the strong-form claim no longer obviously fringe: peer-reviewed dyad coupling + ten years of strong-form ethnography + a coherent theoretical chassis = a single legible research stack, no longer a collection of disconnected anomalies. The threat is the trajectory, not the man.
③ THE UNWRITTEN LASER-FIELD PROBE — timing trigger. Per the documented next-study direction (laser as coherent-EM probe of the brain ↔ lattice coupling), the experiment Grinberg was setting up in 1994 was specifically the move from ethnographic conviction back to instrumented physics. Anyone reading the trajectory could see that the next paper would close the gap between the dyad result and the strong-form Pachita-class claim — converting a defensible-but-dismissable peer-reviewed anomaly into a falsifiable physics program. December 1994 sits inside the window of “before the bridge gets published.” That is when a containment response is cheapest and the operational window is widest.
④ LATTICE RESONANCE / SYNTERGIC THEORY — enabling framework. Less likely to be the trigger on its own — theories don’t threaten institutions, replicable methods do — but the syntergic chassis is what made 01, 02, and 03 legible as a coherent program rather than as isolated effects. It is the reason a file reader looks at the dyad paper, the Pachita ethnography, and the projected laser-probe study and sees one continuous research line worth closing.
∴ CONTAINMENT BOTTOM LINE. The proximate cause is not what made Grinberg valuable to acquire — the Stargate sunset timeline rules that out. The proximate cause is what made the knowledge dangerous to allow to spread: a teachable dyad protocol with published partial replications, a strong-form ethnographic existence-proof already on record, and an instrumented physics paper queued up to bridge the two. You don’t recruit that. You close the door.
RECORD CORRECTION // WIKIPEDIA AUDIT
▸ Public knowledge analysis — Pollution-by-adjacency mechanic
PUBLIC RECORD vs ARCHIVAL RECORD — DELTA ANALYSISCLICK TO EXPAND
▸ SITUATION SUMMARY
The English-language Wikipedia article on Jacobo Grinberg reads as a curated frame, not a neutral biography. It establishes his credentials (Mexico City birth, UNAM affiliation, NYU doctorate, INPEC founding) and then immediately folds them into editorial language placing him alongside witchcraft and astrology — including the verdict-as-biography line that he “put his reputation as a scientist in danger” by studying shamanism. His 1994 Physics Essays paper, the Faraday-chamber methodology, the three independent partial replications, the CIA Stargate citation, Comandante Padilla’s forced removal, the case file vanishing from the police chief’s office, and the seizure of his research materials are all absent. The disappearance gets two sentences; the Shiva Shambho social-media rumor (which his own brother dismissed) gets more space than the forensic anomalies. That is not neglect — that is curation.
▸ HOW THE POLLUTION MECHANIC WORKS
Step 1 — attach legitimate trail to maximally ridiculous content. Place the dyadic-EEG paper, the Faraday chambers, and a peer-reviewed citation record next to witchcraft, astrology, and Shiva Shambho. Make the adjacency the framing.
Step 2 — let association do the rebuttal work. The actual evidence is never directly addressed. It doesn’t have to be. Once the legitimate trail and the ridiculous content share a paragraph, citing either one in a serious conversation makes the speaker look like they’re citing both.
Step 3 — omit the load-bearing detail. The Physics Essays paper, the Faraday chambers, the replications, the Stargate file, Padilla’s removal, the vanished case file. None of it is denied. None of it is engaged. It is simply not there. The omission carries the argument.
Structural parallel: the same mechanic that made Pizzagate so toxic it became hard to discuss the actual Epstein files. The legitimate evidentiary trail (financier-network trafficking, flight logs, sealed court documents) becomes contaminated by structural proximity to a maximally ridiculous adjacent claim. Anyone trying to discuss the legitimate trail inherits the ridicule attached to the adjacent claim. The rebuttal is never made; it is rendered unnecessary by contamination. Grinberg gets the same treatment in miniature: peer-reviewed dyad coupling lives one paragraph away from astrology, and the adjacency does the work that an argument would otherwise have to do.
▸ DIRECTION OF CONTAMINATION — THIS IS DATA, NOT A FOOTNOTE
The mechanic is identical in both cases. The vector is inverted — and the vector itself is evidence about who is doing the contaminating and why.

Pizzagate — upward / grassroots: a false claim originated below, propagated by proponents of the legitimate concern, and contaminated the real Epstein trail from inside the discourse. No specific actor is responsible; it is an emergent social phenomenon. The poisoning is diffuse, unintentional in aggregate, and defensible as “people got carried away.” Critics did not have to do the work — the work did itself.

Grinberg — downward / editorial: the curation is constructed inside a single document by identifiable editors with persistent control. Astrology, witchcraft, and the Shiva Shambho rumor did not drift into proximity with the Faraday-chamber paper — someone placed them there and someone keeps them there. That requires sustained editorial attention, watchlist activity, and rejection of corrective edits over time. The poisoning is concentrated, deliberate at the edit-level, and cannot be defended as “people got carried away” because Wikipedia is not a folk artifact — it is a curated one.

What the direction tells you:
  • Top-down contamination requires resources — sustained editor presence, revert authority, source-rejection discipline. Someone has to care enough to do the work, on an ongoing basis, for decades. That itself is evidence of organized interest.
  • It points to an identifiable surface — not a diffuse mob, but a specific edit history, a specific talk page, a specific set of accounts and policies invoked. The mechanism is auditable; the actors are not anonymous in the way Pizzagate’s amplifiers were.
  • It rules out the “just neglect” defense. Neglect produces sparse, low-quality articles. This article is well-maintained — just maintained in the wrong direction. Active curation toward an editorial verdict is the opposite of neglect.
  • It aligns with the dominant hypothesis on this page. Hypothesis 05 (Institutional Suppression / Promethean Threat) predicts exactly this pattern: a diffuse institutional immune response operating through editorial layers rather than through any single decisive action. Top-down public-knowledge contamination is what that immune response looks like in the open record.
Pizzagate-style upward contamination is what happens when a culture poisons itself. Grinberg-style downward contamination is what happens when something is curating the public record. Same mechanic, different actor profile — and only one of the two leaves fingerprints.

DAVID BOHM — WHOLENESS AND THE IMPLICATE ORDER — Foundational parallel theoryCLICK TO EXPAND
▸ WHO HE WAS
David Bohm (1917–1992) was a theoretical physicist — a onetime collaborator of Einstein and co-developer of pilot-wave (Bohmian) quantum mechanics — whose 1980 book Wholeness and the Implicate Order proposed that the ordered, separable universe we perceive is a temporary unfolding of a deeper, enfolded reality. It is the single most-cited rigorous-physics parallel to Grinberg’s Lattice, which is why it sits in nearly every serious treatment of syntergic theory.
▸ CORE CONCEPTS
Implicate / explicate order. The visible world of separate objects — the explicate order — is a surface unfolding of a deeper implicate order in which every region of space enfolds the total information of the whole, the way every point of a hologram encodes the entire image.

The holomovement. Movement, not static matter, is primary. Bohm called the continuous process of enfolding and unfolding between the two orders the holomovement — reality is a verb, not a collection of nouns.

Undivided wholeness. Mind and matter are not separate substances interacting causally; both are projections of, and remain continuous with, the same underlying implicate order. Consciousness is not added to physical reality — it is enfolded in it from the start.

Active information / quantum potential. In Bohmian mechanics, particles are guided by a “quantum potential” that carries active information rather than mechanical force — a rigorous physical precedent for information organizing matter without an energy exchange, which is the same move Grinberg’s Lattice makes at the level of brain and field.

Entanglement — the two-camera analogy. Bohm’s go-to illustration for quantum entanglement: imagine a fish tank filmed by two cameras at right angles — one on the front, one on the side — each feeding a separate monitor. Watch only the monitors and the two fish appear to be different fish, correlated in a way that looks like one is instantly signaling the other every time it turns. There is no signal and no real separation — it’s one fish, and the “two” images are just two explicate projections of a single implicate object. Bohm used this to argue that entangled particles aren’t sending faster-than-light messages; they were never two separate things to begin with — the separation is an artifact of the explicate order, and the underlying implicate order is already one.

Thought as implicate order. Bohm extended the framework to cognition itself: thought, memory, and perception operate through the same enfolding/unfolding dynamic, not as outputs of an isolated physical brain.
▸ WHY IT MATTERS HERE
Both frameworks describe a pre-physical, informational substrate underlying reality; both use the hologram as their central metaphor for how a part can contain the whole; both refuse a hard boundary between mind and matter; both argue that the “solid,” separable world we observe unfolds from a deeper order that holds the total information of the field at every point. Bohm supplies the closest thing the Lattice has to an established-physics chassis.

The two-camera analogy is the load-bearing one for the dyad experiment specifically: Grinberg’s two subjects, isolated in separate Faraday chambers 14.5 m apart, are structurally identical to Bohm’s two monitors. Subject A is stimulated, Subject B’s EEG correlates — and under Bohm’s reading, that is not signal transfer between two separate brains, it is two explicate views of one implicate process. The “transferred potential” paper stops looking like a violation of physics and starts looking like exactly what entanglement predicts once mind is granted the same implicate/explicate structure as matter.

▸ PRIMARY SOURCE // GRINBERG IN HIS OWN WORDS
DIRECT TESTIMONY. What follows is Jacobo Grinberg-Zylberbaum personally narrating the extraocular-vision research, the syntergic-field hypothesis, and a previously little-discussed “resonance experiment” in which a blindfolded subject described the childhood home of an investigator sealed in a separate cabin. This is the cleanest possible primary-source confirmation that the protocols documented elsewhere on this page are not reconstructions inferred from third parties — they are what the man himself said he was doing.

“I took a book out of my bag — any book, with blue covers. I placed it in front of the child at a distance of roughly 40 cm. Alejandro stayed still for a few seconds. Then he said, with the same calm he’d say anything: it’s a blue book. There are small letters on the cover. I turned the book toward me and looked. Blue covers, small letters on the cover. Exact.”

EVIDENCE FOR PROTOCOL 05 · EXTRAOCULAR VISION — field encounter, rural Mexico, ~age 9

“Lucía sat in front of the sealed box for roughly 40 seconds … Then she said something that stopped me cold: it’s round, made of glass, I think. There’s a kind of warmth in the color, like amber or honey. But there’s something more. There’s a sense of depth, as if the object were holding something inside it. Glass sphere. Amber. The description was precise at a level that went beyond shape and color.”

LAB CONFIRMATION OF PROTOCOL 05 — sealed-box, computer-randomized object selection, skeptical-observer panel

“It’s not that I see it the way I see a chair in front of me. It’s more like I suddenly know it’s there — the way you know someone entered the room even though your back was turned. You don’t see them. But you know.”

PHENOMENOLOGY — subject Rosa describing what extraocular perception actually feels like (not visual; informational)

“We’d set up a variation of the basic protocol in the lab that we called the resonance experiment … we asked the subject to describe what another person in the room — someone they couldn’t see, sealed in a separate cabin — was thinking or imagining … The young student … described a structure, a building. He talked about windows with dark-colored frames. He talked about a tree on the left side of the façade. He talked about a sense of steps … The investigator in the cabin, on hearing the recording afterwards, stayed silent for a long time. Then she confirmed: windows with dark frames, a tree on the left, steps at the entrance. The house she grew up in.”

DIRECT PRECURSOR TO PROTOCOL 03 · BRAIN-TO-BRAIN — image-content variant of the transferred-potential coupling, recounted by Grinberg himself

“The brain doesn’t see. The brain has never seen anything. The photons entering your eyes right now don’t reach the brain. What reaches the brain are electrical signals … What you perceive as ‘watching this video’ is a construction, an internal representation your brain has generated … If visual experience is an internal construction, then the relevant question is not whether that construction can only happen through the eyes. The question is: are there other ways the nervous system could receive enough information to generate that construction?”

THEORETICAL CORE — the move that makes Protocols 02, 03, 05, and 06 logically continuous rather than separate “powers”

“The subjects who showed the greatest capacity for this kind of perception were invariably subjects with a certain level of inner stillness … Stillness doesn’t create the capacity; it simply reduces the interference enough for a signal that has always been there to become perceptible. It’s like trying to hear a quiet conversation in the middle of a crowded train station.”

EMPIRICAL JUSTIFICATION FOR PROTOCOL 01 · AUTO-ALLUSIVE MEDITATION as prerequisite to everything else

“I do not know exactly what mechanism underlies these phenomena. I don’t know. And any researcher who claims to know with certainty should be looked at with suspicion … What I know is what I observed. What I know is that the results were statistically significant, replicable under controlled conditions, and radically inconsistent with chance or deception. What I don’t know is why they happen.”

EPISTEMIC STANCE — this is how Grinberg himself framed the work. Notice he is the one drawing the line, not his critics

“The real mystery is not whether we can see without eyes. The real mystery is understanding what it means to see — what that instant is, in which the darkness of the nerve signal becomes the luminosity of experience.”

CLOSING — Grinberg situating his own work inside the hard problem of consciousness

▸ WHAT THIS PRIMARY SOURCE CONFIRMS
  • Protocol 05 (Extraocular Vision): field-case methodology (Alejandro) and lab-replication methodology (Lucía, sealed-box, computer-randomized objects, skeptical-observer panel) are both narrated firsthand. The 1983 paper is not the whole record — he kept running this for at least a decade after.
  • Protocol 03 (Brain-to-Brain): the “resonance experiment” described here is a previously under-emphasized image-content variant of the transferred-potential work — sender holds a specific mental image, separated receiver describes its visual features. Cleaner phenomenology than the EEG-only protocol, harder to control for, more dramatic when it lands.
  • Protocol 01 (Auto-Allusive Meditation): Grinberg explicitly identifies inner stillness as the empirical correlate of successful performance on every other protocol. This is why every recommended progression on this site puts Protocol 01 first — he said so directly.
  • Syntergic field theory: framed here not mystically but as a research hypothesis — consciousness as the interaction between brain activity and a distributed information field. Same framing as the published theoretical volumes, in plain language.
  • Epistemic posture: he’s the one saying “I don’t know the mechanism.” The honest-read warnings on every training card on this site are not corrections of Grinberg — they’re a restatement of his own position.
▸ TRAINING PROTOCOLS // OPERATOR PIPELINE
READ FIRST. These are reconstructions of Grinberg’s published and reported protocols. They are presented for historical and research purposes — this is what the lab actually had subjects do. None of this is medical, psychological, or spiritual advice. Effects are real to the operator regardless of whether the underlying mechanism is what Grinberg said it was. Make sure to touch grass often, and keep grounded to the world we are allowed to live in.
PROTOCOL 01

AUTO-ALLUSIVE (SELF-REFERENTIAL) MEDITATION

DOCUMENTED · OPERATOR PIPELINE

Grinberg’s signature meditation manual. The technique he used to put subjects into the brain-state that produced the transferred-potential effect, and that he taught publicly in Mexico for two decades. The core move: attention recursively turns onto its own activity, collapsing the subject/object split. This is the “operator pipeline” — the prerequisite condition for everything else in his catalog.

▸ SOURCE DOCUMENTS

▸ THE TECHNIQUE (7-stage protocol, ~45 minutes)

  1. Posture & settling (5 min). Seated upright, spine self-supporting, eyes closed or soft-focus. Two minutes of slow diaphragmatic breathing to settle the autonomic baseline.
  2. Body scan (5 min). Move attention through the body head-to-feet, noting sensation without changing it. Goal: get the attentional spotlight working smoothly before turning it on itself.
  3. Object-attention (5 min). Pick one stable percept — breath at the nostrils, or a felt-sense in the chest. Hold attention there. When it wanders, return.
  4. First inversion (10 min). Instead of attending to the breath, attend to the attending itself. Notice the act of noticing. The breath becomes background; the “noticer” becomes the foreground. This will feel unstable and recursive — that is correct.
  5. Second inversion (10 min). Now notice the one who is noticing the noticing. The recursion is the point. Do not try to “arrive” anywhere; rest in the loop itself. Subjects commonly report a felt-sense of the boundary between self and field thinning.
  6. Open lattice (8 min). Release the recursion. Let attention be unfocused, panoramic, equally present to internal and external. Grinberg framed this as “resting in the syntergic lattice.” Phenomenologically: spacious, alert, contentless.
  7. Re-entry (2 min). Slow breath, finger and toe movement, eyes open softly. Sit for 60 seconds before standing.

▸ TRAINING PROGRESSION

  • Weeks 1–4: Stages 1–3 only. Build the attentional baseline. 20-minute sessions, daily.
  • Weeks 5–8: Add stages 4–5. Expect destabilization — this is the recursion working. If you experience persistent dissociation outside the session, back off.
  • Weeks 9+: Full protocol. Move to twice-daily if pursuing the operator pipeline seriously.
  • EEG signature (for those instrumenting): Grinberg reported increased inter-hemispheric coherence at 7–13 Hz (alpha band) during stages 5–6, with frontal-midline theta bursts during inversion transitions. Replicable on consumer EEG.
CAUTION: The recursive-attention stages can trigger depersonalization episodes in vulnerable practitioners. If you have a history of dissociative disorder, psychosis, or unstable trauma, work with a trauma-informed teacher rather than self-directing. Stop the protocol if symptoms persist outside the session.
PROTOCOL 02

LATTICE RESONANCE / SYNTERGIC FIELD COHERENCE

HYPOTHESIS · GROUP-LEVEL

Multi-operator coherence training. Where Protocol 01 builds the single-operator brain-state, Protocol 02 chains operators into a coupled group. Grinberg ran group sessions of 5–30 meditators using the auto-allusive technique synchronously, measuring inter-subject EEG coherence. The hypothesis: a sufficiently coherent group locks onto a shared syntergic-field configuration that no single operator could sustain alone.

  1. Prerequisite: all participants must be fluent in Protocol 01 (auto-allusive meditation) to at least stage 5. Group coherence collapses if half the group is still doing object-attention.
  2. Group size: 5–12 ideal. Grinberg found returns diminish above ~15 unless tightly facilitated.
  3. Spatial arrangement: seated in a circle, equal spacing, facing inward. Eyes closed. Silent.
  4. Co-induction (15 min): a single facilitator paces breath aloud (4-in, 6-out) until breathing synchronizes audibly across the group. Then silence.
  5. Synchronous auto-allusive run (30 min): all participants execute Protocol 01 stages 3–6 simultaneously. Facilitator gives quiet voice-cues at stage transitions.
  6. Open-field sit (10 min): stage 6 of Protocol 01, held collectively. This is the “resonance window.”
  7. Re-entry & debrief (10 min): open eyes, share felt-quality. Do not interpret — just report.

▸ IF YOU WANT TO INSTRUMENT IT

  • Hyperscanning: 2+ consumer EEG rigs with synced clocks (OpenBCI works). Compute inter-subject phase-locking value (PLV) in alpha (8–12 Hz).
  • Baseline: pre-session resting PLV vs. peak-session PLV. Grinberg-style result: peak PLV elevated 2–4× over baseline in trained groups.
  • Random-effects field detector (REG / quantum RNG): place a hardware RNG in the room, look for deviations from chance during the resonance window. This is the Princeton GCP methodology.
HONEST READ: Group-coherence effects are real at the EEG level (inter-brain synchrony in meditation groups is replicable). Whether that coherence does anything outside the brains in the room is the unresolved claim. Don’t over-interpret subjective field-sensations — collect data.
PROTOCOL 03

BRAIN-TO-BRAIN INTERFACE / TRANSFERRED POTENTIAL

PUBLISHED · 1994

Two subjects in separate electromagnetically-shielded (Faraday) rooms. One receives intermittent visual stimulation. The other’s EEG shows a correlated potential at the same timing — no known signaling channel between them. This is the headline empirical result, published in Physics Essays 1994, and the work most directly aligned with the Stargate-program mandate.

▸ SOURCE DOCUMENTS

▸ EQUIPMENT (minimum)

  • Two electromagnetically-shielded rooms (Faraday cages). Practically: at minimum two rooms separated by 14+ meters, no shared electrical circuit, and a controlled-timing trigger.
  • Two EEG rigs with synchronized clocks (sub-millisecond timing). Minimum 19-channel 10–20 montage; modern dry-electrode consumer EEGs (Muse, OpenBCI Cyton) work for pilot data but not for publication-grade results.
  • A flash stimulus device (LED panel or strobe) on a controlled timing channel for one subject (the “sender”).
  • Software to extract evoked potentials and run cross-correlation. EEGLAB (MATLAB) or MNE-Python.

▸ PROTOCOL

  1. Pair selection. Recruit pairs with a pre-existing emotional bond (long-term partners, twins, close meditators-in-training). Grinberg consistently found stronger effects in bonded pairs; randomly-paired strangers showed weak-to-null transfer.
  2. Co-meditation induction. Both subjects sit together in the same room for 20 minutes prior to recording. Silent eyes-closed sitting, attention on the other person’s presence. This is the “coupling” phase — the dependent variable Grinberg attributed the effect to.
  3. Separation. Move each subject to their own shielded room. Fit EEG. Maintain instruction to “keep felt-contact” with the other person.
  4. Stimulus block. Sender receives ~100 light flashes at randomized inter-stimulus intervals (5–15 seconds, jittered). Receiver receives no stimulus, eyes closed, instructed to remain in coupling-state.
  5. Analysis. Time-lock the receiver’s EEG to the sender’s flash timestamps. Average across trials. Compare against time-shuffled control (same EEG, randomly re-aligned timestamps). The published result: a small but statistically reliable evoked potential in the receiver at the same latency as the sender’s visual evoked potential.
  6. Controls. Run the same protocol with non-bonded pairs (predicts no effect) and with the sender absent (predicts no effect). Both negative controls are essential.

▸ REPLICATION STATUS

  • Partial replications: Wackermann et al. (2003) Neuroscience Letters — small effect, similar direction. Standish et al. (2004) — positive in bonded pairs.
  • Failed replications also exist. Effect size is small (Cohen’s d ~0.2–0.4 in best runs), so adequately powered studies require n > 30 pairs.
  • This is the most defensible piece of Grinberg’s catalog. If you replicate one thing, replicate this.
NOTE: Without proper electromagnetic shielding and clock synchronization, you cannot rule out trivial explanations (60Hz hum coupling, accidental cueing). A real run requires either institutional EEG facilities or a serious DIY shielded-room build.
PROTOCOL 04

SHAMANIC TRANSMISSION / PACHITA-LINE WORK

ETHNOGRAPHIC · NOT SELF-TRAINABLE

Grinberg’s decade-long apprenticeship with Pachita (Bárbara Guerrero), the Mexican curandera who performed psychic surgeries in front of his EEG instrumentation. This is not a self-trainable protocol — it requires direct lineage transmission from a working practitioner — but Grinberg documented the operator preparation in detail and the observational framework is reproducible.

▸ SOURCE DOCUMENTS

▸ HOW PACHITA WAS TRAINED (lineage)

  • Abandoned in early childhood and adopted by an African man named Charles, who raised her for 14 years and “taught her to read the stars and to heal.” No formal curriculum — pure lineage transmission.
  • Lived through extreme experiential range — fought alongside Pancho Villa’s forces, worked as a cabaret singer and lottery-ticket vendor, sang on buses. Grinberg’s read: this radical compression of life experience is what “connected her with what transcended all of it” — the training was biographical, not didactic.
  • Working modality: she did not perform as herself. Her personality went absent during operations; the entity she called “Hermanito Cuauhtémoc” (spirit of the last Aztec emperor) used her body. She had no memory of the sessions afterward — when Grinberg read his manuscript back to her, she was the most astonished reader.

▸ HOW SHE TAUGHT (apprenticeship method)

  1. Admission by readiness, not application. The doorman (Cuauhtémoc’s instruction) decided who entered. Grinberg waited outside meditating until told: “The Brother wants you to pass.” No preparatory course — you proved ready by showing up.
  2. Throw-in immersion from session one. First operation: assistant duties immediately. No lecture, no demonstration. The Brother addressed him directly (“Mi niño, acércate”), placed him at the operating bedside, and told him what to do mid-procedure.
  3. Embodied instruction (“satura”). Core technique — closing the wound — was transmitted by single word: “Rápido, satura la herida.” Apply alcohol-soaked cotton, lay hands, intend closure. Grinberg writes that he simply “knew” what to do. The teaching was the doing.
  4. Tiered assistant hierarchy. Pachita’s veteran assistant Armando (six+ years, retained ordinary consciousness in exchange for less protection — his own deal with the Brother) and Leo (six years, twice-weekly) modeled the protocol. Her son Memo handled the herbal pharmacopeia and taught its preparation. Apprentices learned laterally from each other as much as from her.
  5. Per-patient adaptation. Treatments were not standardized. Each patient received a uniquely composed herbal regimen, surgical sequence, and consultation. Apprentices absorbed pattern-recognition by watching dozens of variants, not by memorizing a recipe.
  6. Closing teaching ritual. After each night of operations (often ending at midnight), assistants gathered around her, received the Brother’s blessing, asked questions, and got direct advice on their own work and lives. Doctrine was delivered after the work, not before.
  7. Daños framework (taught in parallel by Don Lucio in Tepoztlán, Morelos): the curandero distinction between “good illness” (natural, treatable conventionally) and “daño” (somatic manifestation of another person’s envy or malign intent). Diagnosis and extraction were taught alongside the surgical work.

▸ HOW GRINBERG LEARNED (his discipline as apprentice)

  1. Same-day field notes. He wrote up each session the same night or the following morning — the entire book is built from these contemporaneous notes. He explicitly refused to retouch them years later to preserve “the freshness of the text.”
  2. Participant ethnography, not observation. From the first session he was at the bedside with hands on patients, not behind a clipboard. He performed the “saturation” on incisions himself. He was operated on by Pachita more than once. The data was generated through him.
  3. Travel with the lineage. He followed her to Parral (Chihuahua) where he witnessed the drought-breaking weather work, and ran parallel fieldwork in Tepoztlán (Don Lucio), the Mazatec velada tradition (Psilocybe / Salvia divinorum), Huichol peyote pilgrimages to Wirikuta, and other entheogenic lineages.
  4. Suspension of professional categories. As a psychofisiólogo with a decade of cortical research behind him, he had to actively suspend the “this is impossible” reflex. His method: “decidí no juzgar y simplemente aceptar lo que veía y oía” — record first, theorize later.
  5. Holding contradictions. He stayed explicit that sleight-of-hand theater was interleaved with what he interpreted as genuine effects, and that disentangling them was the unsolved problem of his work. He neither endorsed nor dismissed the Cuauhtémoc-as-discrete-entity claim — he kept it as data.
  6. Translation back to the lab. What he could instrument, he instrumented. Operator EEG signatures, patient coupling effects, and trance-state phenomenology fed directly into his INPEC research program and the syntergic-theory volumes.
  7. Operator preparation he adopted personally. Daily meditation, fasting before sessions, no recreational use of plant medicines (he treated them as instruments), participation in ceremonial structure rather than spectatorship, and the curandera ethic Pachita embedded: ability without service collapses the practitioner.

▸ OBSERVATIONAL FRAMEWORK (what Grinberg actually measured)

  1. Pre-state baseline. EEG on operator (curandera) and patient before any contact.
  2. Operator entrainment. Curandera enters working trance — in Pachita’s case, identified as channeling “Hermanito Cuauhtémoc.” EEG signature: large-amplitude slow waves, frontal theta, reduced reactivity to external stimuli.
  3. Patient coupling. Direct physical contact. Grinberg reported patient EEG drifting toward operator EEG profile within 30–90 seconds — the same coupling signature seen in Protocol 03 but stronger.
  4. Intervention phase. The actual procedure (which in Pachita’s case included sleight-of-hand “surgical” theater alongside reported clinical effects). Grinberg was explicit that the theatrical and the genuine were interleaved and that disentangling them was the unsolved problem.
  5. Post-state. Both EEGs return to baseline. Patient outcomes recorded over weeks/months.
HONEST READ: You cannot “train” yourself into shamanic operator status from a book. What you can do is replicate Grinberg’s observational protocol if you have access to a working traditional healer who consents to instrumentation. The reproducible piece is the coupling-signature measurement (operator→patient EEG drift), not the “powers.” Treat the rest as ethnography, not as engineering.
PROTOCOL 05

EXTRAOCULAR VISION / DERMO-OPTIC PERCEPTION

PUBLISHED · 1983

Identifying colors, shapes, or printed text while fully blindfolded, using skin contact (typically fingertips, forehead, or back of neck). Grinberg published the original protocol in 1983 working with children at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). The training works best on subjects under ~14 and degrades with age — he hypothesized the lattice-coupling is more plastic before pubertal cortical pruning.

▸ SOURCE DOCUMENTS

▸ EQUIPMENT

  • Opaque blindfold (sleep mask + black electrical tape over any light leak; verify zero light by waving a flashlight across the eyes).
  • Set of solid-color cards (red / blue / green / yellow / black / white) printed on identical paper stock so weight, texture, and edge-feel are uniform — this controls for tactile leakage.
  • Quiet, evenly-lit room. Lab notebook + timer.
  • A second person (the “runner”) who shuffles and presents cards. The runner must be silent and avoid breath cues.

▸ PROTOCOL (Grinberg 1983, condensed)

  1. Baseline blindfold check. Subject sits relaxed, eyes closed under the blindfold for 2–3 minutes. Confirm no visual leakage by having the runner move a bright light at varying angles — subject reports zero light perception.
  2. Relaxation induction. 5–10 minutes of slow diaphragmatic breathing (4-second inhale, 6-second exhale). Subject is asked to “feel attention move outward through the surface of the skin, especially the fingertips and forehead.”
  3. Calibration pass. Runner places one card face-up in subject’s open palm. Subject is told the color and instructed to attend to any felt-quality: temperature, vibration, density, “weight,“ tingling. Repeat for all colors. Subject builds a private felt-vocabulary (e.g. “red = warm-dense, blue = cool-thin”).
  4. Blind trial block. Runner shuffles the deck. One card per trial is placed in the subject’s palm; subject names the color before lifting it. Record hit/miss. Minimum 20 trials per session, 6 colors = chance level ~16.7%.
  5. Progressive constraint. Once a subject hits >50% reliably across multiple sessions, advance the difficulty: card placed under glass (no direct skin contact); card placed against forehead instead of palm; geometric shapes instead of solid colors; printed letters; finally, sealed opaque envelopes.
  6. Session length. 30–45 minutes maximum. The faculty fatigues fast. Daily practice, short sessions, beats long marathon sessions.

▸ CONTROLS YOU MUST RUN (otherwise you’re just fooling yourself)

  • Sensory leakage check. Run at least one block where the runner is in a separate room and slides cards through a slot, so breath, micro-movements, and warmth cues are eliminated.
  • Identical card stock. Different inks reflect heat differently; some subjects unconsciously detect thermal differences. Use identical pigment-loading or run a thermal-block control.
  • Double-blind. Both runner and subject blind to the card identity until reveal (e.g. cards in numbered sealed envelopes, key held by a third party).
  • Statistical bar. 6-color discrimination, chance = 16.7%. Aim for binomial significance over a block of 50+ trials before claiming a result. 35% with n=50 is exciting; 35% with n=10 is noise.
HONEST READ: Grinberg’s 1983 results were dramatic but never independently replicated under fully sensory-isolated double-blind conditions. Modern attempts (e.g. on adult subjects) typically collapse to chance once double-blind is enforced. The protocol is real, the historical results are real, the mechanism remains open. Treat positive results as interesting, not as proof, until you’ve nailed every leakage channel.
PROTOCOL 06

REALITY-SERVER / LATTICE STEERING

SPECULATIVE · NO PUBLISHED PROTOCOL

Grinberg never published a step-by-step “reality-server control” protocol. This is the unwritten synthesis — the operational extension implied by the syntergic theory if you take its strongest claims at face value. What follows is a reconstruction, built from his theoretical writings plus the closest analog protocols (group coherence + auto-allusive). It is presented as a research hypothesis, not as a verified technique.

▸ SOURCE DOCUMENTS (theoretical only)

▸ RECONSTRUCTED PROTOCOL (research hypothesis)

  1. Prerequisite: fluency in Protocol 01 (operator pipeline) to stage 6, and at least one full Protocol 02 (group coherence) session per week for 8+ weeks. Without the operator and group foundations, there is no lattice-locking happening.
  2. Define the target. A single, specific, falsifiable target state — the smallest possible “different lattice point.” Examples: a specific number on a die, a binary RNG output, a coin-flip sequence. Grinberg’s framing was that this is not magical wish-fulfillment — it is selection-among-already-available lattice configurations, biased by coherent operator attention.
  3. Group coherence window. Enter Protocol 02 stage 6 (open lattice) as a group.
  4. Synchronous intent. All operators hold the target state in attention simultaneously, without strain. The technique is “allowing” rather than “willing” — closer to the meditator’s relationship to breath than to the athlete’s relationship to muscle.
  5. Measurement window. Sample the target system (roll the die, read the RNG) during the held attention, not before or after.
  6. Massive trials, blinded analysis. Pre-register the target. Run hundreds of trials across multiple sessions. Compare against time-shuffled null. Effect sizes are tiny if non-zero (this is the realistic prior).

▸ HONEST CALIBRATION

  • The closest legitimate research analog is the PEAR lab (Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research, 1979–2007). They ran ~2.5 million trials. Reported effect size: ~0.0003 bits per trial. Real if real; tiny.
  • The Global Consciousness Project ran similar methodology at planetary scale for 25 years. Reported a small persistent effect; meta-analysis remains contested.
  • If you run this protocol, calibrate expectations accordingly: the realistic ceiling is “detectable statistical anomaly with adequate n,” not “visible reality change.”
FRAMING: This protocol exists in this dossier because the user asked for a training section for all abilities. It is the most speculative entry. Do not let its presence here imply equal evidentiary weight with the published protocols (01, 03, 05). The empirically defensible work is the documented trio: meditation, brain-to-brain, and extraocular vision. Treat this one as “here is what the experiment would look like if you wanted to test the strongest claim.”
▸ RECOMMENDED PROGRESSION
  1. Months 1–3: Protocol 01 (auto-allusive meditation) solo. Daily. Build the operator baseline. Nothing else matters until this is stable.
  2. Months 4–6: Add Protocol 05 (extraocular vision) as a controlled side-experiment. It is the cleanest single-operator test. Run with proper blinding from day one.
  3. Months 6–12: Find or form a partner / small group. Begin Protocol 03 (brain-to-brain) pilot with consumer EEG, and Protocol 02 (group coherence) without instrumentation.
  4. Year 2+: Instrument Protocol 02. Optionally pilot Protocol 06 with pre-registered design. Read Protocol 04 as context, not curriculum.
The whole point of Grinberg’s pipeline is that the operator is the instrument. Protocols 02–06 all assume Protocol 01 is already running underneath. Skipping the meditation foundation and jumping to the “flashy” experiments is the single most common reason people get null results and conclude the whole field is fake.

▸ CASE STUDY 01 // JUPITER REMOTE VIEWING PROBE — APRIL 27, 1973
"Something like mountains ... very tall things ... a ring of some kind ... crystals in the atmosphere. Storms. The winds blow the clouds around. Enormous."
— SWANN SESSION TRANSCRIPT, APRIL 27, 1973 · SRI MENLO PARK
CONDITION SET
Swann proposed the experiment himself. Researchers Harold Puthoff and Russell Targ initially resisted — results from a planetary target would be unverifiable at the time. Swann was given no coordinates, no images, no prior information. The target was simply: Jupiter. He requested 30 minutes of silence before beginning. His remote viewing session of the planet took roughly three and a half minutes once initiated.
SESSION DATA
Swann reported: a hydrogen-rich, poisonous atmosphere; ammonia, methane, and possibly deuterium composition; enormous cyclonic storm systems; crystals in the upper atmosphere he compared to bands of cloud; something projecting above the cloud layers like mountains or very tall structures; and — critically — a thin flat ring around the planet, which he initially doubted, wondering if he had accidentally viewed Saturn instead.
VERIFICATION — 1979
NASA's Voyager 1 flyby of Jupiter in March 1979 — six years after the session — confirmed the ring. It was described in the mission report as "the most surprising" finding: "a thin, flat ring around the great planet." The storm systems, atmospheric banding, crystal-like cloud layers, and moon Io's volcanic activity matched the session notes.
▸ RING CONFIRMED. Storm systems confirmed. Atmospheric composition directionally correct. SRI compiled a formal comparison report — raw session data (4 pages) against 300 pages of confirmatory scientific literature.
⚠ CAVEAT: Some atmospheric descriptions were ambiguous or consistent with prior published estimates. The ring was unknown to science but its discovery may have later influenced how the session was interpreted. Critics note selection bias in hit/miss accounting.
OPERATIONAL CONSEQUENCE
The Jupiter session was the data point that converted CIA funding from exploratory to operational. A Congressional investigation was opened — not to terminate the program, but because the accuracy of the session raised concerns about potential national security breach. No breach was found. Government funding continued for another 15 years.

FIRST OPERATIONAL RV SEMIPALATINSK HIT CONGRESSIONAL INVESTIGATION TRIGGERED DECEASED 1975

▸ CASE STUDY 02 // SEMIPALATINSK NUCLEAR FACILITY — JULY 9–12, 1974
"I am lying on my back on the roof of a two or three-storied brick building. There is a large gantry crane nearby ... the wheels are taller than a man. Tracks, 50 feet apart. 150 feet tall. It runs over an underground building."
— PRICE SESSION TRANSCRIPT, JULY 10, 1974 · SRI · DECLASSIFIED CIA CREST ARCHIVE
TARGET ASSIGNMENT
CIA's very first operational remote viewing assignment. Price was given only geographic coordinates — 50°09′59″N, 78°22′22″E — and told the site was an R&D test facility approximately 60 miles west-southwest of Semipalatinsk. No maps. No images. No indication the target was a nuclear site. The CIA representative determined in advance: if Price described either the known multi-story crane or the oil-derrick-like structures, the program would continue.
SESSION — DAY 1–2
Price located a river, then the facility. He described and sketched the gantry crane in engineering-drawing quality: rail-mounted, 150 feet tall, wheels taller than a man, tracks 50 feet apart, running over an underground structure. The CIA evaluating officer wrote: "It seems inconceivable to imagine how he could draw such a likeness to the actual crane at [Semipalatinsk] unless he actually saw it through remote viewing, or was informed of what to draw by someone knowledgeable of the site."
▸ CRANE SKETCH MATCH CONFIRMED. CIA satellite photography (declassified 1995 via FOIA) shows both cranes sharing identical 8-wheel configuration. Russell Targ: "the accuracy of Price's drawing is the sort of thing that I as a physicist would never have believed, if I had not seen it for myself."
SESSION — DAY 3–4
Price described massive 60-foot diameter metal spheres being assembled from thick curved steel panels — "like sections of an orange peel" — with workers struggling to weld them because the metal was warping. He suggested they needed a lower-temperature welding material. This detail was not in any known US intelligence file at the time.
▸ SPHERES CONFIRMED — 1977. An Aviation Week article revealed the 58-foot diameter spheres at Semipalatinsk designed to capture energy from nuclear-driven pulse generators. Price had described these two years before he died, and three years before their public disclosure.
⚠ CAVEAT: The Los Alamos analyst D. Stillman's 1975 independent review found limited overall intelligence value in the full session data. The crane and sphere hits are the durable signals; much else was imprecise or wrong. The Aviation Week article itself was later contested as Cold War propaganda. The spheres' existence was eventually confirmed by Soviet disclosure — the precise mechanism remains debated.
CONGRESSIONAL AFTERMATH
The session results triggered a formal Congressional investigation to determine if there had been a national security breach — the data was considered too accurate to have been produced by psychic means alone. No breach was ever found. The program received continued government funding for fifteen additional years as a direct result.

"I'm seeing a large warehouse structure, something like a covered dry dock — but it's inland, pulled back from the water. Inside there is ... a submarine. But not like anything I've seen. Much larger. The missile tubes are angled — canted. Double hull structure. This cannot fit through the facility doors."
— McMONEAGLE SESSION RECONSTRUCTION · SEPT 7, 1979 · FORT MEADE / SRI · CIA CREST ARCHIVE
TARGET ASSIGNMENT
The NSA requested remote viewing assistance for Soviet submarine construction projects in September 1979. McMoneagle was given geographic coordinates pointing to Shipyard 402 near the White Sea, USSR. He conducted six remote viewing sessions against the target over two days. The facility's contents were unknown to US intelligence — the building was inland, far from any water, making the notion of a submarine inside it seem logistically absurd.
SESSION DATA
McMoneagle described: a massive covered building approximately 100 yards from water; a submarine inside far larger than any known Soviet class; a distinctive double-hull structure; missile launch tubes that were canted (angled rather than vertical) — a design that would allow firing while the vessel was in motion rather than stationary; and in a later session, a projected forward deployment date of approximately 100 days and water entering the building as it neared launch.
▸ TYPHOON CLASS CONFIRMED. The vessel was the Typhoon-class SSBN — the largest submarine ever built. Its defining features matched McMoneagle's descriptions: double-hull construction, 20 canted missile tubes, and massive displacement. It was first observed by satellite approximately 120 days after the session (versus the predicted 100 days). The Office of Naval Intelligence took the report seriously; CIA analyst Robert Gates dismissed it. Gates was wrong.
⚠ CAVEAT: Evidence suggests some accumulation of Typhoon-class intelligence existed within US agencies prior to the session — the target was not a total unknown. The session may have been a training exercise against a semi-known target rather than a fully blind operational task. McMoneagle's own account differs from some declassified documents on this point. Tube count (18–20 predicted vs. 20 confirmed) and timing (100 vs. 120 days) show directional accuracy but not precision.
INSTITUTIONAL RESPONSE
McMoneagle's Typhoon findings were "roundly ridiculed" by intelligence officers who could not accept that a submarine would be built in an inland structure. The rejection was institutional, not analytical — the data was dismissed before verification. Once satellite imagery confirmed the vessel's existence and characteristics, the program's operational credibility was substantially elevated.
ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTED TARGETS
McMoneagle's record across the program included: sketching the location of US Army General James Dozier during his Red Brigade kidnapping in Italy (1981), with sufficient precision that rescue teams narrowed their search area; predicting Skylab's re-entry trajectory and impact zone eleven months before the event; and contributing to the location of a downed Soviet bomber carrying nuclear materials after conventional reconnaissance failed. President Carter publicly acknowledged the program's success in the bomber recovery case.

▸ THE 6 STAGES — OPERATIONAL PROGRESSION
01INITIAL CONTACT — GESTALT IMPRESSIONFIRST SIGNAL
The viewer is given only a target reference — historically, geographic coordinates on a slip of paper. No other information. The viewer writes the coordinates, then notes an immediate, spontaneous ideogram: a reflexive mark or shape that the hand produces in response to the signal line. The viewer then decodes a basic gestalt of the target — is it land, water, man-made structure, natural, life form? Stage 1 is a 15–30 second process. Its purpose is to make initial contact with the target before analytical overlay (AOL) contaminates the signal. No thinking. First impression only.
02SENSORY DATA — DIMENSIONALSSENSORY CHANNEL
The viewer begins building a sensory profile of the target. Two channels are accessed: Aesthetics (colors, textures, temperatures, sounds, smells, tastes) and Dimensionals (spatial properties: tall/short, wide/narrow, angular/curved, open/enclosed). These are written in columns, not prose — the structure prevents narrative construction. The goal is to accumulate raw perceptual data without the mind assembling it into a recognizable scene. If the viewer starts recognizing a "building" or "ocean," that is Analytical Overlay (AOL) — it is noted separately and bracketed. The signal, not the interpretation, is what Stage 2 captures.
03SKETCHING — GESTALT RENDERINGSPATIAL OUTPUT
The viewer produces a sketch — not from imagination, but from the accumulated Stage 2 dimensionals. The hand draws what the dimensional data implies spatially, without the viewer consciously deciding what the target looks like. Sketches in Stage 3 consistently outperform verbal descriptions in matching confirmed target photographs — the spatial/motor channel appears to access the signal line more directly than language. Pat Price's crane sketch and McMoneagle's submarine sketches are canonical examples of Stage 3 output that matched satellite imagery. Labels are added post-sketch to explain what was sensed, not what was imagined.
04ADVANCED PERCEPTUALS — FUNCTIONAL AND EMOTIONAL DATADEEP SIGNAL
Stage 4 moves beyond physical description into function and emotional atmosphere. The viewer accesses what the target is for and what it feels like to be there. This stage uses a structured matrix format — columns for physical data, dimensional data, emotional impact, and intangible qualities. It is in Stage 4 that viewers begin to access operational intelligence value beyond raw location data: purpose, activity, psychological climate, danger, urgency. The stage requires that all AOL be clearly labeled to prevent contamination of the raw data stream. Stage 4 is the first stage where intelligence customers frequently find actionable content.
05PHONETICS AND SYMBOLIC DATALINGUISTIC CHANNEL
An emergent and partially contested stage. Some viewers spontaneously produce phonetic fragments — partial sounds or syllables that may correspond to names, labels, or language at the target site. These are recorded as raw phonetics, not interpreted names. Stage 5 was documented in the original Swann/Puthoff 1983 briefing as a spontaneous phenomenon; it was never fully codified into a formal training protocol. Pat Price's use of phonetics to identify the CIA officer Ken Kress by name — correctly — is the program's most dramatic claimed example of Stage 5 data. Swann referred to a potential Stage 7 involving more developed phonetic/linguistic channel work, but it was never formally completed.
06THREE-DIMENSIONAL MODELINGTERMINAL STAGE
Stage 6 synthesizes all prior data into a three-dimensional model or clay reconstruction of the target. The viewer physically builds or diagrams the spatial structure from accumulated sketches and dimensional data. This stage was designed for architectural, structural, or geographical targets where spatial accuracy was operationally critical. Stage 6 produces the most verifiable output and the most rigorous test of whether prior stages accessed genuine signal versus imagination. It is uncontroversially the terminal stage of the original Swann/Puthoff methodology — Stage 7 and beyond remain in the domain of documented-but-uncodified phenomenon.

▸ CORE DESIGN PRINCIPLES — WHAT CRV IS BUILT TO PREVENT
ANALYTICAL OVERLAY (AOL)
The single greatest threat to signal integrity. The conscious mind pattern-matches incoming data to known categories too quickly — once it identifies "it's a building," imagination fills in details the signal did not provide. Every CRV stage is designed to delay and quarantine AOL rather than eliminate it. AOL is labeled, noted, set aside — not suppressed.
FRONT-LOADING
Any prior knowledge of the target contaminates the session. CRV uses a fully blind protocol: the viewer knows nothing about the target beyond a random reference number. The monitor (session coordinator) may also be blind to prevent unconscious cueing. This was the core methodological difference between CRV and earlier psychic research that failed replication.
STAGE COMPRESSION
Rushing to the "interesting" stages without properly working Stage 1–2 produces sessions full of imagination and confirmation bias. The staged progression is non-negotiable — each stage builds the signal strength before the next level of data is accessed. This is why untrained viewers produce chance-level results on blind targets.
